Rowing across the Atlantic Ocean

In December 2011 Hugo and Ross began their row across the Atlantic Ocean. They started on the island of La Gomera in the Canary Islands on 4th December and headed west to the Caribbean, some 2650 miles away. Along the way they battled 60 foot seas, lightning storms, extreme fatigue, sharks, jelly fish stings, swollen prostates, hallucinations, salt sores, limited sleep and sea sickness. They arrived at Port St Charles on the north-west coast of Barbados some 41 days, 23 hours, 34 minutes later on 16th January 2012 setting two world records- the youngest four man crew and the first twins to have rowed any of the world oceans.
