Green Pole

Expedition

The Green Pole was the second Pole of Inaccessibility that the twins’ successfully reached. Located in the heart of Brazil in the state of Mato Grosso, the twins’ cycle started from the north-west coast of Chile in Arica. They cycled over the Andes mountains ascending 33kms on their bikes, across the Atacama desert, traversed volcanoes and salt flats and then crossed the world’s largest swamp area, The Pantanal. The journey covered 2,500kms and took 34 days.
